    POINTBRAQUE UZI BANG BANG

    Uzi is Luca’s daughter from her first litter with Steel de la Lande de Bourberouge.

    Uzi is very special as she was my pick from our first litter. She is the mirror of her mums temperament with the added zest and bounce of dad Ziggy.

    HEALTH TEST - Uzi is due to undergo her hips and elbow screening in the near future.

  • Aramis

    ARAMIS DU FIEF D’EPSOM

    Aramis has been entrusted to me by our friends at the Fief d’Epsom kennel just outside Bordeaux in France.

    He is a stunning example of a Bourbonnais in construction and temperament.

  • Purdy

    VALLÉE VERDETTE

    Purdy is Pedra’s daughter from her first litter with Absinthe de Lautrec Vardarianna.

    Purdy has a sweet attentive nature. She has an great aptitude to work, is extremely biddable and an excellent retriever.

  • Nora

    POINTBRAQUE XMOOR BEAUTY

    Nora is Luca’s daughter from her second litter. She was born in March 2026 so is just a baby and won’t undergo any health screening for quite some time whilst she has time to grow.

    Nora has an exceptional pedigree with her sire being the very sought after Takoda des Bruyeres d’Ermitage aka Pete.

  • Luca

    LUCA MÁZAS BROLIS

    Luca was our first Braque du Bourbonnais and essentially who made us fall in love with the breed. She was bred by Irma Sirmiene from the world renowned Mazas Brolis kennel in Lithuania.

    Luca has an exceptional pedigree of Pech du Cayrol decent.

    Luca has a sweet, gentle nature, is extremely loyal and is never far from your feet.

    Luca has had two litters and created two new exciting lines to the gene pool and is now retired from breeding. She has also claimed her full time space on our sofa next to Pedra.

  • Pedra

    PERDRIX DE LA BENIGOUSSE

    Pedra is a French import from the Benigousse kennel. She is a classic example of a traditional Bourbonnais bitch. She has a strong working instinct and is mostly found exploring and hunting in the woods and the hedgerows.

    Pedra has also had two litters and created two very different lines to the Bourbonnais gene pool. Pedra is now retired from breeding with her daughter, Purdy, continuing her line going forward. Pedra will now live out her days with us and has claimed her full time space on the sofa.

A bit about us…

Having grown up with gun dogs, we brought home our first German Shorthaired Pointer named Fenton in 2019 - this is where our love for pointer breeds began.

We discovered the Braque du Bourbonnais some time later when we fell in love with Luca, and have been passionate about the breed ever since.

These French Pointers have captivated our hearts and we now find ourselves dedicated to protecting and preserving this rare and ancient breed. Health, genetic diversity, and preserving the original Bourbonnais is at the forefront of everything we do. Our goal is to produce the highest quality examples of the breed.

Our puppies are whelped and nurtured in the house alongside our dogs who are first and foremost our family pets, enjoying rural life in North Devon.
